Alpenvans was founded in 2021 by Martin and Alyx , fueled by a shared passion for adventure and creativity. It all started when Martin bought his first Sprinter van in 2020, now affectionately named Big Boy, and began building it himself after struggling to find high-quality parts at fair prices with reasonable shipping. Frustrated by the lack of options, he decided to take matters into his own hands—and the idea for Alpenvans was born.

As fate would have it, Martin met Alyx while building Big Boy. They quickly bonded over their love of adventure. After completing the build, they hit the road together, taking Big Boy on a transformative three-month journey across the country. Along the way, they fell in love with each other, and after the end of that trip they got married and spent the next year upgrading and perfecting Big Boy, turning it into the ultimate adventure van.

Their passion for creating dream vans soon extended to helping others. They began offering installations and upgrades for customers, and Alpenvans truly came to life. Driven by their dream of building their ultimate van, Martin and Alyx created BIEST, their next-level adventure rig, designed to push the limits of what a van could be.

Today, Martin and Alyx pour their love for adventure, craftsmanship, and van life into every project.
